  1. I love the colors for those socks. Socks have become the project that I always have on my needles. I’ve knit five pair already this year. I typically knit four at a time, toe-up, magic loop and on one long circular needle. My goal is to knit 20 hand-knit socks this year.

    1. Holy moly! 4 at-a-time is beyond me. I just don’t have the patience for that — I need results faster. 🙂 A couple years ago I did 26 pairs in a year, that was a lot! Best of luck as you go along and feel free to pop into the Friends of Knitting Sarah Ravelry group — we’re having a sock-along there this year. It’s a very casual, make your own goals kind of thing. We’d love to see your socks!

  2. In one of my Facebook groups, there’s one lady that was knitting 12 at a time! Now that takes patience! 😳🙀 It’s all done on one 60″ cable. She even had a video showing how she kept the yarn from getting tangled. The most I have knit is six at a time, but four is much more my speed.

Oh good! I’ll be sure to check out the Ravelry group. For four at a time, I usually finish in about 1.5 weeks. I knit when I can. These days, that hasn’t been a lot, but I’m still managing to knit daily. ❤ I also have more than one sock project. My latest side sock project is two at a time.
