  1. it looks so pretty, can’t wait to see the finished yarn. 🙂 I am learning so much about color with this spinning thing. One of the braids I ordered from TWF is summer bouquet. I opened the braid and thought “won’t all this brown ruin all the lovely green and purple?” so I went digging to see how people dealt with the color, and found, of course, your 1×6 SAL. Now I can relax, it will come out beautifully no matter what I do with it! Thanks for all the sharing and teaching by example that you do.

    1. You are very welcome — it is truly my pleasure! Yes! You will be fine with Summer Bouquet — it’s such a fun colorway. I’ve yet to really muddy one of Mary Ann’s colorways, nor have I seen anyone else do the same. Just have fun!

      1. I am doing a two ply as that is what I feel comfortable with right now (and I can fit a good amount ont he small bobbin) so I broke it into half, but to keep the colorway true, I first broke it in thirds where the repeat starts, then took one third and split it length wise. That gave me two equal portions and maintained the color order. Next up I will split all those chunks into an equal number of long slices of color and start spinning, can’t wait to see how that works – I expect, since I am not an even spinner yet, that I will get some barber-poling and some solid colors.
